Did I already mention how much I love to receive submissions from our visitors? Seriously, it rocks to have you girls and guys contribute to reface.me. Like Lindsey here, who made a Lost character map and decided to send it our way so we could share it with you! You can tag up to 16 of your Facebook friends as characters from the popular television series about a mystery island.

CollegeHumor quickly jumped the bandwagon and made a pretty cool parody of the Mr. Men & Little Miss tagging picture with their own cartoon illustrations. If you’re fed up with the one-month old character tagging Facebook meme -that seems to have infected MySpace as well- this is the ONE picture that you DO have to upload to make a statement.

Evan’s tagging picture is a collage of LOLcats, you know, the funny kitty pictures made famous by lolcats.com and I Can Has Cheezburger. It’s probably the biggest tag your friends poster we’ve seen until now, allowing you to tag up to 42 of your friends as the following cool cats or cute kittens…

A lot of our visitors seem to be into the Twilight novel and/or movie, judging by the number of searches for the “twilight” keyword. So here are the two Twilight tagging pics for Facebook that I could find, featuring Edward Cullen and his “family”, ennemies and other movie characters.

This Tag your Friends grid popped up in my Facebook news feed this morning, and it’s pretty well-made so kudos to someone named Aaron! It features popular video game characters from all sorts of game genres: shoot ’em ups, platform, fighting and puzzle games. Let’s see if we got any hardcore gamers here… Can you name all 29 game characters ?

It had to happen. Being a child of the 80s I couldn’t resist making an A-Team tag picture for Facebook . Hell, reface.me’s mascot is even one of the television series’ main characters. So ask yourself the question, if you and your Facebook friends were the A-team, which of the 5 (yes, five!) members would you be?

By popular demand we’re doing a mega post full of Tag your Friends pictures we came across the past two weeks. And judging by the e-mails I get it’s clear that you want as many of these Facebook pics as you can get. Collect ’em all, Pokemon-style!

One of our readers, lauzybel, suggested doing a Facebook tag picture with Super Mario characters. No need to make our own, because Joseph Toschlog already created an 8-bit style poster in which you can tag your friends as Super Mario Bros characters, enemies and even objects.

Running a blog becomes really interesting when your readers start sending in their own stuff, especially if that content is useful to other readers. Zshomler is such a creative reface.me reader who just fired up his image editor and compiled a Star Wars Personalities map for the popular Facebook tagging game that’s currently going on.

Urlesque was so kind to link to a few of our Tag your Facebook friends pictures a few days ago, and they have also tipped us about their own creation called the Urlesque Meme Matcher. Internet memes in an Internet meme? That’s like chocolate chunks inside a chocolate bar: awesome!

It’s been a while since we posted another “Tag your friends” picture, so let’s conclude this week with another one of these popular Facebook posters. No cartoon characters in this picture, but a collage of smileys (or emoticons) instead. You know, those yellow things you’ve seen on forums and instant messaging software?

Get ready to upload and flex your tagging fingers, because here’s a brand new and original “Tag your friends” poster for you. The theme of this tagging picture is pop music, and you can tag up to 16 of your male and female Facebook friends as your popstars.

As an alternative to the overload of cartoon characters, a new category of “Tag your friends” pictures has emerged featuring special alphabets or fonts. The most interesting one I’ve seen so far is a collage called “Corporate Alphabet” which was created back in 2004 by Dutch designers Amoud van den Heuval and Koert van Mensvoort.

Chances are high you’ve seen a bunch of round and green cartoon characters pass by in your Facebook news feed. Yes, it’s another one of those collage pictures you can tag your friends in, and the cute characters at your service are called The Poddington Peas.
