Classic meme hits Facebook: Create your own album cover

The CD Cover Meme has been around for ages. I think it started on Flickr one or two years ago, and it has recently made the jump to the Facebook crowd. It’s quite a different meme than your average notes and surveys, because it’s based on luck (the random stuff) and it requires a variable amount of creativity too (you have to actually design your own album cover).
The instructions for the album cover meme:
Step 1) Click here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random) or go to Wikipedia and hit “random”.
-> The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.Step 2) Click here (http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3) for a list of random quotations.
-> The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your album.Step 3) Click here (http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days) or go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”.
-> The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.Step 4) Use your favorite photo software to put it all together (Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.NET,…)
Step 5) Upload your CD cover to Facebook, copy-paste these instructions in the description field and tag 10 friends in the picture who have to design their own album cover next.
Here’s my album cover, after closely following the meme’s step-by-step instructions:
TIP: If you want to put your cover in a realistic cd case like me, just download our CD Case Template for Adobe Photoshop.
Finally, these are the random links that I used as the sources for the cover:
- Band name: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_Qing_(artist)
- Album title: www.quotationspage.com/quote/38916.html
- Cover image: www.flickr.com/photos/26628378@N03/3319659193/
