Tag a Friend, Win a Flight

Airphil Express, a low-cost airline based in the Philippines, is celebrating the arrival of their new Airbus fleet by giving away free flights to people who tag their friends on Facebook. It’s fairly easy to have a throw at the free round trip tickets for you and a friend. Just upload the TAG A FLIGHT, TAG A FRIEND promo picture to the airline’s Facebook Page along with the obligatory caption, and tag at least 9 friends for each destination before the contest closes. It’s so easy to enter, the hardest part is probably choosing those 9 friends you want to go on a trip with.
Here are the step-by-step instructions:
- Like Airphil Express on Facebook!
- Download the promo picture and upload it to the wall of Airphil Express!
- On the textbox, copy-paste: Join the TAG A FLIGHT, TAG A FRIEND Promo by Airphil Express and get a chance to win roundtrip tickets for you and a friend! http://on.fb.me/tagaflight
- Tag a friend on each destination on the map. Your entry should have at least 9 tagged friends until the end of the promo
Over 5,000 people have so far participated in the competition that launched just yesterday, which means that Airphil Express has made its way into at least 50,000 profiles within 24 hours! This shows that the good old Ikea strategy is still effective.
Ten winners will be drawn; 5 taggers and 5 friends who’ve been tagged. The first winner will be announced on Saturday, January 15th at 6 PM. The other four winners the same time on January 17th 2011. Three percent of our site’s traffic originates from the Philippines, so good luck to those readers!
