Earlier this week, Kanye West stopped by the Facebook HQ in Palo Alto, California, to offer a preview of some brand new songs on his upcoming album (presumably called “Good Ass Job”). He performed the raps a capella while standing on a table in front of tons of Facebook employees.

As some of you have probably noticed, Facebook recently started to prohibit links to our site, meaning that for the time being you cannot share any of our articles or our main page on your wall or as a comment.

Mark Zuckerberg is not just making his way to the silver screen. The Facebook founder is about to appear on your television screen as well as a character in the upcoming 22nd season of the hugely popular animated series The Simpsons.

Facebook is killing off the Facebook Gifts feature and will close its Gift Shop on August 1st, 2010.

After the rather minimalistic first trailer, here’s a new teaser for the upcoming movie about Facebook called The Social Network.

We’re not sure how long this has been around for, but we noticed a handy, brief information popup that appears when you hover your mouse over a profile name for more than a second.

As diligently noticed by Jello on the reface.me Page, Facebook has just turned on the “Like” button for comments. The extension of the Like feature to comments has been a popular request for a while, and the albeit little change will tremendously increase the number of likes.

We noticed this little message from Facebook on our home page today, offering us to “apply to be a beta tester and get the first look at upcoming Facebook products.” Needless to say, we clicked it.
