Remember Facebook’s old commenting system, where pressing Enter still meant adding a new line, and where you had to click a button in order to submit your fabulous comment? Feels like it was just days ago… Wait a minute. It was.
If you can’t get used to the fact that Facebook removed the “Comment” button, then you should give the F.B Purity browser plugin a try. The latest version (4.4.0) of the plugin reverts your Facebook to the previous commenting system with the button. In addition, it offers the following filtering features:
- Automatically hide posts that contain certain words or phrases.
- Hide the Suggestions, People you may know, Featured, Find Friends boxes.
- Hide the Sponsored, Get Connected, Poke, Events, Requests, and Questions boxes.
- Delete all recent activity messages from your profile.
- And many more features.
» F.B Purity is available here for Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera.
