Facebook Adds @Tagging To Comments

Facebook has finally enabled the tagging of people, pages, groups, events and applications in comments. Back in September 2009, the site introduced the option to add tags to status updates, and starting today regular users and Page administrators can tag (or link to) content by typing the @-symbol followed by its exact name. The same restrictions apply, being a maximum of 6 tags per comment and only “connected” (i.e. friended, liked, joined and attending) items.
For now, the feature is not yet allowed in the recently revamped Comments for websites plugin.
