Facebook Roadtrip: Friends are more than Status Updates

Graham Smith’s The Facebook Roadtrip is a short documentary about Smith traveling 1800 miles across the country to take the pulse ─both figuratively as literally─ of people with whom he is friends on Facebook. The documentary, which is part of Smith’s grad school thesis project, proves that “true friendship is enhanced by face-to-face contact—and that the human experience is far more than a mere series of status updates“.
