This week, we’re leaving our sophomore year behind us! And Reface.me’s second year was a goooood one, to say the least. To celebrate our 2nd anniversary, we’re giving away a number of gifts. All you have to do is watch our Facebook Page and keep an eye on the row of photos at the top.

In an effort to speed up Reface.me, we made some changes behind the scenes. Unfortunately, for most of the past 24 hours these server adjustments caused a string of error messages to appear.

net@night, is a long-running audio netcast focused on Web 2.0 and hosted by Leo Laporte and Amber MacArthur. Amber spends “every waking moment combing the net for cool sites, viral videos, and funny and moving moments online” and in their most recent episode, she named Reface.me her Site of the Night.

2010 was without a doubt the biggest year so far for social media, and Facebook in particular. So much has happened, we thought we’d give you a month-by-month review as seen through the eyes of Reface.me.

Just in time for the holiday season ─but convenient throughout the entire year─ we’ve launched our Facebook Gifts & Gadgets page. A quintessential overview of all the Facebook themed products reface.me has encountered so far, the list serves as a source of inspiration for those buying gifts or compiling their personal wish list.

Unless you’ve spent the past few weeks talking to a beaver instead of logging into Facebook, you’ll have noticed many people ─maybe even you─ have changed their profile pictures to that of a favorite cartoon character.

We reached 10,000 “Likes” on Facebook overnight! Not only does that mean ten thousand people like reface.me, it also means we like each and everyone of you crazy ten thousand folks. That’s why we’re lowering the prices of all our Facebook t-shirts today.

As some of you have probably noticed, Facebook recently started to prohibit links to our site, meaning that for the time being you cannot share any of our articles or our main page on your wall or as a comment.
