Status tagging probably expanding to comments soon




Sooner than expected, Facebook launched the new @tagging  feature that lets you tag “anything you’re connected to on Facebook” in your status updates, and also in wall posts using the Share widget on another person’s page. When asked live on CNN why tags didn’t work in comments yet, Facebook spokeswoman, Randi Zuckerberg, replied:

The comments, we do not have tagging yet, but from the popular demand that we’ve heard so far from roll-out… could happen!
