Wayback Week on Facebook

In case you haven’t noticed ─if not, you will soon─ it’s Wayback Week (aka Throwback Week) on Facebook. Why? Maybe it’s like the bra color status updates, but now to raise awareness for growing old? Or maybe it’s just plain old fun. This is the call for action doing rounds on Facebook:

It’s WAYBACK WEEK on Facebook! Everyone change your profile pic to a throwback picture of yourself when you were young! Copy and paste this message, and let’s see how adorable (or ridiculous) we all were!

All you have to do to participate in Wayback Week is scan one of your old photographs from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s depending on when you were still young and innocent, and upload the digital image file as your Facebook profile picture. If you don’t have any digital retro pictures of yourself, but own an iPhone, you can always Yearbook Yourself to make you look a few decades younger.

Stay tuned for next week’s Facebook trend!
