More and more soccer fans are rooting for their favorite teams by changing their Facebook profile pictures to their country’s soccer jerseys, and specifically that of their favorite players. Most of these supporters aren’t Photoshop wizards though, but there’s a popular Facebook application called 2010 World Cup Jersey that does the hard work for you.

As diligently noticed by Jello on the reface.me Page, Facebook has just turned on the “Like” button for comments. The extension of the Like feature to comments has been a popular request for a while, and the albeit little change will tremendously increase the number of likes.

We noticed this little message from Facebook on our home page today, offering us to “apply to be a beta tester and get the first look at upcoming Facebook products.” Needless to say, we clicked it.

Even if you have only accidentally watched just a few seconds of the World Cup 2010 while flicking channels, you’ll have heard the sound of the vuvuzela. The stadium blowing horn, approximately 1 meter (3 feet, 3 inches) in length, is the favourite instrument of soccer fans in South Africa. And right now, it’s also the most hated instrument in the rest of the world.
