World War II: Facebook Edition

How do you teach history to kids in the digital media age? Take the timeline of an important historical event and apply it to Facebook. For example, here’s World War II as documented through a Facebook news feed, featuring the rise and fall of Germany, as well as Japan, USSR, Italy, France, UK, USA and the many other countries involved.
Contrary the actual feed, most recent events in this adaptation are not published at the top but chronologically from the top down. Oh yeah, and the time is actually the year.
Now enjoy this interpretation by Matthew Leeb.
