May the fourth be with you. Get the pun? That’s why today, May 4th, is considered the unoffical Star Wars Day (sometimes known as Luke Skywalker Day) on which fans of the sixfold science fiction movie series by George Lucas.

In 2005 German news TV channel N24 interviewed George Lucas and asked him to say his famous sentence, “May the Force be with you.” The translator simultaneously translated to German: “Am 4. Mai sind wir bei Ihnen”. (We are with you on May 4).
“May the fourth be with you” is arguably today’s most popular status update, but there’s more you can do to celebrate Star Wars Day on Facebook.
