Carmen Sandiego Coming To Facebook

If you’re still wondering where in the world Carmen Sandiego is, you’re in luck. On February 9th, she will be on Facebook! The popular educational game from the 80s makes its comeback on Facebook with brand new graphics and, of course, lots of social gaming elements. We’ll let the trailer by Blue Fang and The Learning Company lift a tip of the veil:
Fans of the Carmen Sandiego franchise, which spawned not only geography games but game shows, an animated series and books, should stay tuned by liking the game’s Facebook Page. Blue Fang, known from Zoo Tycoon and Zoo Kingdom, has also revamped another retro gaming classic called The Oregon Trail (see this page) which is due for a Facebook release on February 2nd. Expect to see a lot of status updates that say: “…has died of dysentery.”
